Why We Donate 5% To Bunny Rescue?
There is not enough resource for rabbit rescue in Japan.
I have a fur baby bunny that is 3 years old now.
When he got sick for the first time, it was very difficult to find animal clinic that accepts rabbit patient nearby.
Number of animal hospitals or clinics are very few even in Tokyo, the heart of Japan.
Due to the scarcity of vets that can treat bunny, the treatment price for bunnies are very high.
And there are unresponsible bunny owners that abandon their fluffy friends.
Rabbit rescue charity staffs in Japan often need to drive to go to find the abandoned bunnies and take them to vet for body check.
In case the bunnies have disease, they need to bear all the medical expenses. (Which is common, some owners abandoned the bunnies because they don't want to afford the medical cost.)
Although there are donations from good-hearted people to these charity organization, the rate the charities take in rescued rabbits is way faster than people adopting the rabbits.
This extends to one problem.
Rabbit food, hay, medical treatment, electricity fee (To keep regular temperature for bunnies), a space to keep them (Rental expense) etc...become very considerable amount of money to spend every month for dozen of rabbits.
Not to mention there are charities that keep more bunnies than that.
Therefore, I would like to spread love for more fluffy babies out there, and decide to donate this store's 5% of profit to the rabbit rescue charities.
To help them support more bunnies' lives and help cure their diseases.
Thank you for your understanding and time reading about this rabbit condition in Japan!
